Dr. Elana Ashley has been invited to participate in the upcoming art exhibition at THE ART CENTER - HIGHLAND PARK. The event is entitled VOICES AND VISIONS: STANDING ON THE BRIDGE BETWEEN HEALTH AND DISEASE. The art show is open August 14 - September 26, 2020. However they are having an OPEN RECEPTION September 11, 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm.
Artist Elana Ashley will be displaying three paintings at VOICES AND VISIONS. One painting relates to the July 4th, 2020 Independence Day Celebration that never took place this year at Navy Pier in Chicago. A second painting shows The Statue of Liberty with the background of a colorful sunset. The 3rd painting will be a surprise! These three paintings are part of an art series that Ashley has been working on for the past year, and that series — entitled THE UNVEILING OF THE UNIVERSE AND BEYOND — will be presented at the Winnetka Community House in November, 2020, sponsored by the North Shore Art League.
